...is to encourage, equip, & lead people to follow Jesus, wherever they currently are in their faith.

...is to create a church where unchurched people love to engage, through irresistible environments, transformational connections, & opportunities to make a lasting impact.

We want to create experiences you don't want to miss! On Sundays, helpful messages will be presented by live communicators & video-teaching pastors, such as Andy Stanley (Lead Pastor of North Point Church). We will use a high-quality, interactive program for your children & youth. These messages & programs will help you navigate the complexities of relationships, parenting, finances, & faith wherever you currently are.

At Current, we want you to feel at home! We will use everyday language, won't single you out, & will do our best to make you feel comfortable. It is our commitment to you to make it an experience you'll want to revisit.

We love our music & believe you will too! On any given Sunday, you might recognize a familiar song from the radio.  We feel it's important to use all styles of music to engage people.

We will have 3 simple approaches for connecting - Sunday mornings, Small Groups, & serving in the community. We want to encourage people to build relationships through Sunday morning gatherings, in small groups, & with those who don't do church by connecting with their world. 

We want people to be contributors, not consumers. We've found that church membership does not necessarily encourage this mindset. Instead, we believe that when people catch the vision, they will naturally want to get involved & contribute to the mission. 

Current is non-denominational. We will not be tied to the traditions that many may be used to when they think of "church". The reason for that? There's an entire generation who have never experienced those traditions to begin with. We will be constantly intentional about keeping people in mind who are uneasy with, or unaccustomed to, what they've just walked into.

We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God & that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, we believe the Bible is without error.

We believe in One God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity & to become the Savior of the lost world.

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him, but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

We believe that the blood of Jesus Christ, shed on the cross, provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sin. Therefore, God freely offers salvation to those who place their faith in the death & resurrection of Christ as sufficient payment for their sin.

We believe all Christians should live for Christ & not for themselves. By obedience to the Word of God & daily yielding to the Spirit of God, every believer should mature & be conformed to the image of Christ. 

We believe that the church is the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him & by making him known to the lost world.
